The Villa

Regarding the villa ...this property is nicely ‘different’ from the more typical "holiday homes"and the surroundings are gorgeous. You’re not on a crowded ‘development’ hearing other people eating their dinners at night! You’ll feel real privacy here and love the panoramic sea and mountain views while appreciating the fact that you’re only a few minutes from the best beaches and everything of interest. The property sleeps five comfortably, is very roomy (not typical box-size rooms), furnished comfortably, is really well equipped and benefits from it’s own garden area as well as the south facing balcony for all day sun.

It’s in Moraira 's best area (this is not an area of holiday home complexes). Sleeps 4 or 5 comfortably. Excellent value compared to rates charged for other properties with similar location, views and size.

2 big bedrooms, 1 bathroom(with double sinks, shower and bath) South facing sun balcony & private garden, shared pool.  Satellite TV.

It’s something just that little bit different. A spacious, secluded, two-storey, hillside villa with breathtaking sea, mountain and vineyard views. South-facing, all day sun. A roomy villa (140m2) in Moraira'smostexclusive area. Sleeps 5 in two large bedrooms and double sofa bed in lounge. The property shares a large pool and is just minutes from Moraira's fantastic family-friendly beaches, restaurants and marina and three minutes from the charming market town of Teulada. More excellent beaches at Javea, Denia, Calpe and Altea 10-20 minutes away. Large rooms, great views and privacy.

Moraira – the area

This area is without doubt one of THE most impressive in Spain. A totally different world from Spain's overdeveloped tourist ghettos. Beautiful scenery. No high-rise development. Beaches with a carefully preserved natural beauty which defies description. And all of this almost right on your doorstep.

Moraira lies on the South Eastern coast of Spain in a sheltered bay and is a rare location in terms of Spanish coastal areas. Beautiful, green, still unspoilt and with an enormous variety of genuinely charming locations to visit both coastal and inland rural. It has one of the best climates of continental Europe and is ideal for year round visiting. Sea breezes in summer and protected against the cold North winds in winter.

Moraira, situated in a picturesque bay, has grown from a small fishing village to a pretty holiday and retirement resort with considerable charm. It has a large marina, an excellent variety of shops, several large supermarkets selling English foods, a weekly open market and many superb restaurants and bars offering both Spanish and international cuisine. There are excellent local beaches, ideal for snorkelling, windsurfing, scuba diving, jet-skiing or just sunbathing.

The area boasts several golf courses within easy reach, and other leisure facilities include tennis, squash, football, boat hire and trips, horse riding, go-kart racing and several good night clubs. Just forty minutes drive from Moraira is the lively resort of Benidorm and Terra Mitica, the internationally acclaimed theme park.

The two gently shelving beaches have been awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness, along with another 32 beaches throughout the Costa Blanca - far more than any other Costa in Spain.

Moraira has no high-rise hotels or apartment blocks due to very strict planning controls. The area is almost exclusively for villa owners and discerning individuals who prefer independent holidays. The lush green hills are dotted with luxury villas and small holiday complexes set amongst pine woods, vine terracesand olive groves.

Moraira people are friendly and helpful to tourists. English is widely spoken, and even though many Spanish love to practice their English on you, they will appreciate your attempts to speak Spanish!

Moraira is a one hour drive from Alicante airport and about one and a half hours from Valencia. Road connections are very good. There are local buses, a rail service to Valencia and Benidorm, and many taxi companies.

To fully appreciate the area we recommend you hire a car. There is ample car parking in Moraira.
